Who can use this feature?
All members who can upload to a Lightbox they create.
Available on all plans.
Files can be sent from Lightroom to Mediagraph through an Album that has been connected to a Mediagraph Lightbox. You can send files to Mediagraph by sending an existing Lightroom Album, by creating a new Mediagraph Lightbox with a selection of photos, or by adding photos to an existing connected album. Read more about how to create an album connected to a Mediagraph Lightbox here: Create a Lightroom Album from a Mediagraph Lightbox.
Send files from Lightroom to Mediagraph
To send an existing Lightroom Album to Mediagraph:
- Right click the album in Lightroom’s left-hand sidebar.
- Hover over Share… to see a list of available connections. If you don’t see Mediagraph listed, make sure you set up the connection successfully: Connect Mediagraph to Lightroom.
- Click Mediagraph. The upload will begin automatically. A Mediagraph window will open in your default browser showing the new Lightbox.
You cannot establish a connection with an empty Album. There must be at least one image in the album to link it with a Lightbox in Mediagraph.
To send an ad hoc selection of images to a new Mediagraph Lightbox:
- Select the photos you want to upload in Lightroom.
- Drag them onto Mediagraph under the Connections section of the left hand sidebar.
- Select a destination. This can be a pre-existing connected Lightbox, or you can choose a name for a new Lightbox.
- Click Continue. The upload will begin automatically. A Mediagraph window will open in your default browser showing the new Lightbox.
