Read below for some common issues with Lightroom Cloud integration.
I can’t connect a Lightbox to Lightroom
Make sure that you have connected your account in Profile Settings. You can only connect Lightboxes that you created. You cannot connect Lightboxes that you were invited to by someone else.
I don’t see files I’ve sent from Lightroom to Mediagraph, even though the sync is complete.
Sometimes you need to hit the Refresh button on the Workspace to get all new files to show up.
Lightroom tells me Publish Failed for images I’m trying to add to a Connected Album.
Make sure you are logged in to your Mediagraph account in your main browser.
Try quitting and restarting Lightroom, then try to add the file again.
I accidentally deleted a connected Lightbox before deleting the Connected Album in Lightroom, and now Lightroom won’t let me delete.
Click on the arrows under Resend in Lightroom and the Lightbox will be recreated in Mediagraph. Note that this may send new copies of any files in the Lightbox, so you may want to remove any files you don’t want to resend. There must be at least one file in the Lightroom Album for Resend to function.
Can you rename files that have been uploaded to Mediagraph through the Lightroom plugin?
Yes, filenames can be synced between Mediagraph and Lightroom. First, update the filename in Mediagraph. Then, select the files you want to update in Lightroom. In the Lightroom toolbar, go to Library > Plug-in Extras. Click Sync selected photos' filenames to Mediagraph.
How do I adjust the upload file size?
You can change the upload file size in two ways: by changing the global default upload settings, or on the level of individual Storage Folder connections.
To change the upload file size globally:
- Right-click on the Mediagraph tab in Lightroom's Publish Services panel.
- Click Edit Settings.
- Scroll down to File Settings and Image Sizing.
- Update the settings.
- Click Save.
To change the upload file size for specific Mediagraph Storage Folders:
- In the toolbar's File menu, click Plug-in Manager.
- Select Mediagraph from the list of connections.
- Click to open the Options panel.
- Change Export presets per Mediagraph Storage Folder to Allow.
- Click Done.
- In Lightroom's Publish Services panel, right-click the folder connection you want to change.
- Click Edit Mediagraph Storage Folder...
- Select an Upload Format from the drop-down list.
- Click Edit.
Can I have more than one Lightroom connection at a time?
To prevent duplicate publications, it is not possible to set up multiple Publish Services connections between a single Lightroom catalog and a single Mediagraph account. However, a Lightroom catalog can be connected to multiple Mediagraph accounts, and a Mediagraph account can be connected to multiple Lightroom catalogs.
