Who can use this feature?

All members can view. Library Managers and above can upload/download.

Available on EssentialAI plans and above

All accounts at the EssentialAI level and above have access to Mediagraph’s rich AI tools, including automatic video transcription. Every time a video is uploaded to your Mediagraph account, a searchable transcript is automatically generated and added to the file. This time-synced transcript file can be downloaded for editing or offline use. If you already have another transcript or you make any updates to the existing one, you can upload a new version to replace it.

Download or upload a video transcript

  1. Double click a video's thumbnail to open the Asset Detail View.
  2. Scroll down and click to open the Transcript tab.
  3. To download the video’s transcript, click Download Transcript. This will start downloading a file in the .vtt (Video Text Track) format, which will be titled “Your Video’s Filename.vtt”. This file can easily be converted to .srt if necessary. If you want to edit the transcript, you can open this file in your computer's text editor and make any desired changes. The file must then be re-uploaded to Mediagraph.
  4. To upload a transcript, click Upload Transcript. Note that transcripts must be .vtt files to be uploaded.
