Landmarks provide a way to identify a web page’s most important elements for navigation and make them easily accessible. Mediagraph makes use of Landmarks to offer quick navigation between each user interface component. This allows a user to select an item in the middle of one section, such as a particular collection, and then jump right into the content area without having to tab through multiple items.

Mediagraph landmarks are divided into three main sections:

  1. The Main Navigation, which includes the Search bar as an element.
  2. The Asset Groups and Filters, which includes Folders, Libraries and Projects as well as the many filter panels.
  3. The Asset Contents, which includes the thumbnail grid, the table view and the map view.

By default, the following keyboard shortcuts allow you to cycle through Mediagraph’s Landmarks:

Action Keyboard command
Select the next landmark ⌥⇧N
Select the previous landmark ⌥⇧P
Show a pop-up menu listing all landmarks ⌥⇧L

Once you’ve selected the right Landmark, you can use the tab key to cycle through and select your desired interface component from within it.

Please note that Landmark navigation may require you to do a configuration to your browser to enable. For the Chrome browser, a free plugin can be found at the Chrome Web Store here. Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Opera plugins can be found at the links on this page.
