Navigate through filter settings

Once you've opened the panel, it's easy to navigate through all of the filters offered by Mediagraph with only tab, the arrow keys, return, and the space bar. Filters are laid out in one of two ways: as a List, or as a Tree. Navigation is slightly different for each type.

Most filters are structured as a list:

  1. Tab into the filter.
  2. Continue to navigate through with tab, or if the filter is controlled with radio buttons, with the up and down arrow keys.
  3. Hit return to select and enable the setting, or if the filter is controlled by a radio button, hit the space bar.
  4. You can use the down arrow key if you need to scroll through the panel while nothing is selected.
  5. Make sure the filter is highlighted and hit Return or the space bar again to disable it.

Some filters are set up as Trees. These include Rights, Containers, Upload Date and Last Update Date. Once you’ve tabbed into a tree, use the arrow keys to navigate within it:

  • Up and down arrows navigate through the list.
  • Right and left arrows expand or hide the contents of any item.
