Navigate the Thumbnail Grid
- Use Landmarks (hit ⌥⇧N) to highlight the Landmark containing the Thumbnail Grid, called Asset Contents.
- Tab through the items in the top toolbar until the first thumbnail is highlighted.
- Now, use the arrow keys to navigate within the grid.
- The easiest way to leave the grid is by using Landmarks (hit ⌥⇧N to cycle through them).
Open/Close the Asset Action Menu
With a thumbnail highlighted, you can open the Asset Action menu.
- Hit tab once to highlight the gear icon.
- Hit return to select it and open the menu.
- Hit tab once to enter the menu.
- Use the arrow keys to navigate within the menu: up and down to move through the list, left and right to open and close submenus.
- Tab back out of the menu to highlight the gear icon again.
- Hit return to close the menu.
Open/Close the Asset Info Overlay
With an asset's thumbnail highlighted, you can see more info about it with the Info overlay.
- Hit tab twice to highlight the eye icon.
- Hit return to select it and open the Info overlay.
- Hit tab again to enter the overlay in order to copy the GUID or click one of the keywords it may be tagged with.
- Continue to hit tab to exit the overlay.
- Hit return again with the eye icon highlighted to close the Info overlay.
Open the Asset Detail View
With an asset's thumbnail highlighted, you can open the Asset Detail View by hitting the space bar. Hit the escape key to close it and return to the thumbnail grid.
Select thumbnails
With an asset's thumbnail highlighted, you can select by hitting the return key. Moving to another asset and hitting shift+return selects all assets between the first and second selection. As always, discontiguous selection is supported. Hit return again to deselect an asset.
