Available on all plans

There are multiple ways to rearrange Library Collections in your Mediagraph account. Typically, drag-and-drop is the easiest way to move a single Collection. It is also possible to select multiple containers and move them in bulk.

Note that, in most cases, when you move a Collection into a new Library Organizer or Parent Collection, the Collection will automatically inherit the permissions of the parent container.

Drag-and-drop to rearrange Collections

  • Enter "rearrange mode" by clicking theRearrange_Mode.png pencil at the top of the Libraries panel.
  • Locate the Collection you want to move and drag it to its desired location.
  • A blue line will appear to indicate where the Collection is being moved.
  • Exit "rearrange mode" by clicking the Rearrange_Mode_-_Shaded.pngpencil again.

The flush blue line in the left photo indicates the Collection “Marketing” will become a top level Collection.  The indented blue line in the right photo indicates the Collection “Marketing” will become a Sub-collection under “Animals”.

Move Collections in bulk

  1. In the Workspace, navigate to the Collections you want to move.
  2. Click the rearrangemode.png Pencil at the top of the panel to enter Rearrange Mode.
  3. Select the containers you want to move using the radio buttons that appear next to their titles.
  4. Hover over the ActionMenu.png Sprocket at the top of the panel.
  5. Click Move to open the bulk move overlay.
  6. Select your desired destination.
  7. Click the blue Save button. Your selected containers will now be moved to the destination you chose in step six.
