How do I reset my Box.com connection?

Files won't upload from Box.com

If you are having trouble uploading files from your Box account, try these solutions.

Delete and Reconnect Box.com

If your Box connection hasn't been used in 30 days, you need to delete the connection and reconnect it.

  1. Make sure you are logged in to Box in your web browser.
  2. Go to your Mediagraph Profile Settings.
  3. At the bottom of the window click the trashcan icon next to Box.com. Click OK. The accounts are now disconnected.
  4. Click Connect Box.com. The account should connect automatically, but you may be prompted authorize the connection.
  5. Try importing from Box.com again. If the files are still not importing try the next solution.

Check that the files have not been previously uploaded to Mediagraph

If files are still not uploading from Box.com it could be because they have already been uploaded to Mediagraph. Try searching for the file in Mediagraph to see if it was previously uploaded. You can search on the file name using the global search in Mediagraph. 

Confirm you are the primary owner of the files

In order to upload files from Box.com to Mediagraph you must be the primary owner of the file in Box.com. If a file was shared with you in Box.com you will not be able to upload the file to Mediagraph.

Go into your Box.com account to confirm you are the primary owner of the file. If not, you may be able to download the file to your desktop (dependent on share link settings) and upload it to Mediagraph that way. If you do not have download permissions you will not be able to upload this file to Mediagraph. 

When uploading folders from Box.com to Mediagraph, the file count may not match. This is a known issue in Box.com and does not mean your import was incomplete. File counts in Box can be inaccurate, so don't be concerned if the counts don't match perfectly.
